Michelle began her career in design while studying fashion marketing at IADT in Toronto. During this time, she worked in trend forecasting with Canada’s own trendsetting department store. She expanded her knowledge into the home industry by completing the Interior Decorating program at Fanshawe College.
Michelle’s keen eye for space planning, and excitement for design, have found their purpose in custom cabinetry. She takes her passion for discovering new design trends and translates it into usable work areas for her clients. Her ability to visualize a space, and balance multiple details at once, assures a clear vision for each new project.
Michelle’s passion for custom kitchen design has only reinforced her secondary passion; experimenting with the cooking of unique foods. As part of Michelle’s process, she makes specific inquiries into each of her client’s food preparation and cooking preferences to better understand each of her client’s unique culinary requirements. Michelle’s understanding of the different ways families use their kitchens has only strengthened her skills as an accomplished kitchen designer. Michelle feels that the real joy of working with each new client comes from the knowledge that she’s making her client’s everyday home life far more enjoyable than it was before.
