Born and raised into a woodworking family; Fine carpentry has always been a passion. Wilf spent his childhood years working and helping his grandfather, Uncle and Father on their construction work sites and in the cabinet workshop. Apprenticed & graduated in 1984 from Conestoga Collage in the general carpenter program.

In 1995 Wilf made the commitment to full time cabinet design & sales at Jem Dor Woodcraft.

A few of the most rewarding projects have been designing the cabinetry for the Plunket Estate, Plover Mills Farms as well as many lake front executive homes & cottages.

Wilf has won many London Home Builder awards and design credits. Best Kitchen Renovation in 2000 & Best New Kitchen in 1999 to name a few. Wilf has featured several Kitchens and Bathrooms in the London Home Builder Association Parade of Renovations; Kitchens on Parade Tour & Homes at Christmas Tour.

Wilf has been an active member of the London Home Builder Association (LHBA) since 1996 and served on the Renovation Council for over 10 years; was involved in several fundraising & community projects and was the Chairman of the LHBA Chili Blast for several years.

The greatest feeling of success for Wilf is the reward of a satisfied customer. Working with the client and watching the transformation from a tired old out dated Kitchen floor plan, redesigned, renovated and transformed into the ultimate working & entertainment area of the house; or watching the same experience come to life from a working blueprint or customer’s concept.

The excitement of new technology with the availability of ever changing materials & products has given Wilf even more passion of detail and cabinet design.
